The end of the first day

Just wanted to check in at the end of my site’s first full day of life. Did you see that nice shock of red hair and that it’s beginning to walk already?

Alright (Look. I know that’s a British word and that I’m American. Too darn bad. I was raised by a large group of people, many of them Brits, so buzz off. No, wait, I didn’t mean it. Don’t buzz off. Please stay. I won’t be rude to you anymore. I’ll be rude to somebody else.)

Back to what I was saying. Alright, enough with the newborn baby metaphor. That metaphor fell apart when my site didn’t burst into tears, take two or three naps, and have a stinky diaper.

Come to think of it, I’m glad my site isn’t a newborn baby.

Incidentally, did you know that we’re having baby #6 in December? Speaking of stinky diapers….

Moving on.

I really hope you enjoyed what you saw here today. Let me know if anything is confusing or if you have any suggestions for bells and whistles I ought to add.

I expect I will streamline things as I go, so I hope you will bear with me.

Thanks for joining me here! Lots of exciting things are just over the horizon!
